i have been super busy here lately. within a week we have applied to be moved to a bigger house gotten the house and now we have preinspection monday. thats along with all the doctors appointments and other things i have had to do.

ill start off with Rayne since her stuff is shorter lol. i had a doctor appointment and he said im measuring good and the heartrate (150s) was good and my weight was okay though i find it weird i havent gained a whole lot the entire time. had to do glucose test and i assume i passed since i didnt get the call to do a 3 hour one. the doctor also said most likely the c-section date will be Friday, April 22 (good friday) but we cant put it on the schedule until april 1st :( but im excited she will be here by Easter. seems like it is going by so much quicker this time then it did with Drake.

Drake- He is really starting to get up and go here lately. he has mastered (finally!) standing up from a sitting position without pulling up and there is no stopping him now. we are fighting with him over his attitude. he is clingy some days and when he doesnt get his way he throws himself down and starts throwing a tantrum. also if we tell him no or if he grabs something off the shelf and we take it he hits and bites us now :( it is getting extremely rediculous. im not sure what to do with him since he doesnt react to what the books say to do and what everyone else has said works.

other than the attitude he is so confused on why we are putting things in boxes and why he isnt allowed to unpack them. he hasnt ever been around moving before and the only time he sees boxes is when we order something or we get a package from family and he is allowed to unpack them. it is so hard packing with a toddler that thinks he needs to help by unpacking lol

tuesday-thursday

i have been really slacking on posting lately :/ im hitting another nesting spree so when we havent been at playdate i have been cleaning. i get so frustrated on the lack of storage space here, we have to much stuff and not enough places to hide the clutter. we have a meeting with housing thursday to get on the list to move to a bigger place. i hope they find us somewhere quickly because i have no room to bring in anymore things for Rayne at all. i finally got all of the diapers organized and had drakes toys less cluttered looking but then he woke up. he has had a ton of playgroups this week i am exhausted from trying to keep up. i think today is our only no playdate day and we are going to the park when cory gets home anyways so it doesnt really count. i am kind of hoping to convice cory that we should go to the beach instead since he will be home by 3pm and it will still be light out. i want to search for the infamous sea glass they have out here it is supposed to be beautiful. ive got to figure something out to do for cory's birthday saturday to surprise him. i wish there wasnt so much planned already. i might just cancel on everyone and just have a family day instead. off to figure out how to get boot prints off my floors since mopping did nothing.

Squeaky shoes

I bought drake some squeaky shoes yesterday at the bunny store (a baby store offbase) and now he fights us if we try to carry him to the car hahaha. Maybe I should have got him some a long time ago because now he loves walking. I wish he would learn to stand on his own without pulling up on things. It would make it alot easier to keep him clean. Speaking of he now hates baths and fights and screams and tries to climb out when we give him one :( I really really hope it is a phase because he tends to get dirty ALOT.

Evening

I am in such a mood today. This post might offend some people but i dont mean it to...


I am not sure what i hate more, people who flat out tell me that i am stupid for choosing what i chose to do with Drake or those who do it more passive agressivly. the ones i guess who are passive agressive are trying to be nice about it but it kind of hurts more. i can shake off the ones who come straight out and say potty training at 1 is stupid or you should have turned his carseat around all ready pretty easily since they just dont understand our reasoning. but the passive people i try to explain and think i can make them understand and it just makes me madder when they refuse to listen. i know i havent done alot of the "normal"  things with Drake but i have done what we have had to do. he is not a "normal" kid. never has been. all the books say he shouldnt understand what he is saying and he should only have 5-10 words or so but he is making sentences and asking questions and expecting me to answer.

also i am really surprised alot of people don't realize what ive been going through yet but im still not quite ready to talk about it. i guess i am pretty good at acting.

okay now on to what Drakey did today :) he went shopping with me and got squeeker shoes but i got the wrong size :( going to have to go back tomorrow and get smaller ones but they are pretty cheap. he loves them so much laughing while he walks. Cory and him are having a guys night tonight at the bowling alley while i get to go out to a murder mystery dinner :) so excited. Drake went potty twice today :) so proud of him.

morning

Drake got up at 8 this morning screaming. so i pulled him out of bed and took him to the potty and he went again =D so excited he is liking the potty so well. found out yesterday they are trying to change the zodiac. im refusing. i will always be a libra and drake will be a capricorn and pluto is still a planet lol. i am getting tired of everyone finding out drake is 1 and potty training and they are like "oh... you are supposed to start yet" its so frustrating. we are letting him tell us what he wants and if he wants to be on the big potty like mommy and daddy more power to him. i have to try to find tiny training pants for him now. that should be a blast.

Evening

Drake loves his potty seat! He refuses to go in the little potty though so i moved it to the big potty and he peed mostly in it. would have been all in it if cory had been home but i didnt know you had to have boys aim the entire time. go figure. then after that we (Drake and I) went and saw tops in blue. It was pretty good, a musical thing they sang the entire time, Drake did well the first hour and the last half hour but the 30 min between the 2 he kept trying to play with everyone around us. good thing we were surrounded by people with kids. when we got home i put him on his potty again to show Cory how to do it since he will have him all evening tomorrow and Drake sat with his head on my lap the entire time. i guess he was exhausted. I am extremely excited i get my first mommy night tomorrow night since Drake was born and i get to go to a murder mystery party!! hopefully Drake is good for Cory and I wont have to come home early. Also I have a sitter lined up all summer for once or twice a week for Drake so I will have help after Rayne comes. :)

Morning

Drake really amazes me sometimes. He seems to pick things up extremly fast and is always learning. today he started saying 2 more words. "touchdown" is really sounding like it should now and so is "dance." he uses them correctly too. he has also figured out that if he hides things we wont get them. this morning he hid pieces of cory's uniform and then hid the remote controls. i hate when he sees cory leave for work he stays by the door crying for a long time. Drake is getting his own potty seat today after playdate. i let him sit on the big potty since he went back to it and started pulling at his diaper again and he was so excited to be allowed on it. thats all for now since we have to head out to his playdate.

since I'm unable to sleep most nights until late i decided to start blogging on Drake's shenanigans. I am going to try to post at least once a day until Rayne gets here then no promises :)
